{:en}In order to guarantee the quality of English language teaching and offer better opportunities for professional development, teachers and school principals participate in the First Educational Congress in Puebla. It is an initiative jointly promoted by the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) of Mexico and Worldfund to strengthen the relationship between English teachers in Puebla and, through the exchange of experiences, improve the language learning in students of Basic Education.

Similarly, the Congress showed results from LISTO, the Worldfund program focused on directors of public institutions that have received training courses in leadership, which has allowed them to enrich school practices for the benefit of students. During the inauguration, Patricia Vázquez del Mercado, Secretary of Public Education, highlighted Governor Tony Gali’s interest in working for education, including strengthening second language instruction in state schools.

“We will continue making every effort to have quality content and continuity actions, and thus be able to achieve the goals that the New Educational Model poses,” he said. It is worth mentioning that Worldfund offers world-class training and ongoing support in Latin American schools, allowing girls and boys to receive the education they need to become productive members of their community.

To this end, workshops are held such as: the Inter-American Partnership for Education (IAPE) for teachers and English teachers; and the Diploma of Transformational Leadership (LISTO), focused on directors and directors of Compulsory Education.

In her speech, María Dolores González Aragón Martínez, Director of the Diploma LISTO, thanked the State Government and recognized the serious, determined and committed work she does for education.   The director of the Inter-American Educational Society (IAPE), Jim Citrón, said that the opportunity to teach a second language is a valuable gift, opening doors of communication and understanding between cultures. Finally, the Undersecretary of Compulsory Education, Lucero Nava Bolaños, called on the participants to take advantage of this experience, and to locate the challenges and ideas that contribute to the improvement of schools.{:}{:es}

Con el fin de garantizar la calidad de la enseñanza del idioma inglés y ofrecer mejores oportunidades en el desarrollo profesional, Maestros y Directores de escuelas participan en el Primer Congreso Educativo en Puebla. Es una iniciativa promovida conjuntamente por la Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) de México y Worldfund, para fortalecer la relación entre profesores de inglés en Puebla y, a través del intercambio de experiencias, mejorar el aprendizaje de idiomas en estudiantes de Educación Básica.
Del mismo modo, el Congreso mostró los resultados de LISTO, programa de Worldfund centrado en Directores de instituciones públicas que han recibido cursos de capacitación en liderazgo, lo que les ha permitido enriquecer las prácticas escolares en beneficio de los estudiantes. Durante la inauguración, Patricia Vázquez del Mercado, Secretaria de Educación Pública del Estado de Puebla, destacó el interés del Gobernador Tony Gali por trabajar para la educación, incluyendo el fortalecimiento de la enseñanza de la segunda lengua en las escuelas estatales.

A fim de garantir a qualidade do ensino do idioma inglês e oferecer melhores oportunidades de desenvolvimento profissional, professores e diretores de escola participam do Primeiro Congresso Educacional em Puebla. É uma iniciativa promovida conjuntamente pela Secretaria de Educação Pública (SEP) do México e pela Worldfund para fortalecer a relação entre professores de inglês em Puebla e, através do intercâmbio de experiências, melhorar a aprendizagem de línguas dos estudantes de Educação Básica.

Da mesma forma, o Congresso mostrou resultados do LISTO, o programa Worldfund focado em diretores de instituições públicas que receberam cursos de treinamento em liderança, o que lhes permitiu enriquecer as práticas escolares em benefício dos alunos. Durante a inauguração, Patricia Vázquez del Mercado, Secretária de Educação Pública, destacou o interesse do governador Tony Gali em trabalhar para a educação, incluindo o fortalecimento da instrução de segunda língua nas escolas estaduais.
