{:en}After a successful STEM program in Brazil, Worldfund launched the first steps to bring STEM to Mexico: a three-day workshop at Papalote Museo del Niño, one of the best children’s museums in Latin America, on November 21-23.

STEM is an educational tendency around the world and it is vital to generate inclusive economic growth, to advance scientific innovation and to create job opportunity to everyone. “We had more than 40 educators each night from all over Mexico and the response was incredible”, celebrates STEM Brasil’s Director Marcos Paim. According to the director, the program will begin next year. “The event was sensational.”

Worldfund already runs a successful STEM program in public schools in Brazil. So far STEM Brasil has trained more than 4.000 teachers with a direct impact in over 450.000 students.

Dozens of creative and innovative teachers attended the event at Papalote Museo del Niño. The educators were from the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math.

{:}{:es}Después del éxito del programa STEM en Brasil, Worldfund lanzó los primeros pasos para implementar STEM en México. Fueron tres días de actividades dinámicas y prácticas en Noviembro 21-23 en el Museo Papalote del Niño, uno de los mayores museos interactivos para niños del mundo.

Decenas de maestros creativos e innovadores de de física, química, biología y matemáticas participaron del evento. “Tuvimos más de 40 educadores todas las noches de todas las partes de México y las respuestas fueron increíbles”, celebra Marcos Paim, Director del STEM Brasil. De acuerdo con él, el programa comenzará oficialmente al inicio de 2018.

STEM es una tendencia educativa global esencial para el desarrollo económico inclusivo, para avances científicos innovadores, así como para crear oportunidades de trabajo igual para todos. En Brasil, el programa fue implementado en 2009 y ya ha capacitado más de 4.000 profesores, afectando directamente la vida de más de 450.000 estudiantes de escuelas públicas.{:}{:br}Após o sucesso do programa STEM no Brasil, Worldfund lançou os primeiros passos para implementar STEM no México. Foram três dias de atividades e treinamento no Museu Papalote del Niño, um dos maiores museus interativos para crianças do mundo. O workshop ocorreu em 21, 22 e 23 de novembro.

Dezenas de professores criativos e inovadores das áreas de física, química, biologia e matemática participaram do evento. “Tivemos mais de 40 educadores todas as noites de todas as partes do México e as respostas foram incríveis”, celebra Marcos Paim, Diretor do STEM Brasil. De acordo com ele, o programa deve começar oficialmente em 2018.

STEM é uma tendência educacional global essencial para o crescimento econômico inclusivo, para avanços científicos inovadores, assim como para criar oportunidades de trabalho iguais para todos. Is there any kind of programs or contests for students of Public schools in which they can participate with you in the fiel of Maths?
