{:en}A new step in a great partnership: this week the staff from Worldfund’s LISTO program started training at Google Mexico for certification in Google Suite for Education. This training will go on for six weeks and will focus on digital solutions and platforms of content distribution.
“Technology has brought a lot of positive changes related to the generation and access to content”, said Florencia Bianco, Google’s Communication Manager for Latin America in a story for Televisa.
LISTO trains and supports public school principals in Mexico. The LISTO program is a two-year (257-hour) intensive course of study for 50 principals at a time. By partnering with the Department of Education, LISTO promotes the systematic change of the school management environment.
For every participant, LISTO creates a “leadership diagnosis” and measures the transformation of each principal’s leadership style throughout the program, evaluating the prevailing culture at each school in order to create a personalized intervention plan. LISTO principals attend in-person workshops that provide training in strategic planning, best practices in school management, and transformative leadership.
The principals also receive individualized coaching in the schools and through an online platform as they bridge theory and practice, evaluate their progress, and implement strategic plans. Through the online platform, they can communicate with other LISTO principals and share best practices.
Since LISTO was launched in 2009, Worldfund has brought the program to 2,431 schools, and trained 1,787 principals in eleven states: San Luis Potosí, Jalisco, Campeche, Estado de México, Guerrero, Veracruz, Nuevo León, Chiapas, Hidalgo, Puebla and Tlaxcala.
As a result, LISTO has impacted over 1,767,000 students.

Um novo passo em mais uma grande parceria: esta semana a equipe do programa LISTO, da Worldfund, começou o treinamento na sede do Google Mexico para certificação em Google Suite for Education. O treinamento vai durar seis semanas e tem como objetivo melhorar o uso de soluções digitais e de gestão que possam ser aplicadas no programa LISTO.
“A tecnologia trouxe muitas mudanças positivas em relação ao acesso e à geração de conteúdo”, afirma Florencia Bianco, Gerente de Comunicação do Google para América Latina em entrevista à Televisa.
A Worldfund treina e apoia diretores de escolas públicas no México os quais atuam em jardins de infância, escolas primárias e secundárias. Por meio, de uma combinação de workshops e treinamentos, o programa LISTO promove uma mudança profunda na cultura da escola baseada em uma crença compartilhada de responsabilidade mútua para o sucesso do aluno. O nosso objetivo é desenvolver líderes que criem ambientes de aprendizagem efetivos que incluam professores, pais, e a comunidade, melhorando os resultados de aprendizagem dos alunos.
